Egg Dough for Homemade Pasta

Homemade pasta is a lot more work than just opening a box from the grocery store and pouring pasta in some boiling water. However, the extra work is most definitely worth it. The homemade dough is so much more tender, chewier and you can really taste the freshness.

There are plenty of ways to combine liquid and flour to create pasta, but egg dough is one of my favorites. Packed with nutrients and protein from the egg, and a beautiful yellow color, this dough makes amazing pasta.


To make pasta dough that comes together the best, and isn't too grainy, using a finer ground flour is best. I use OO flour with a little bit of all purpose flour to create a little bit of a bite!
